They're a clever lot at Audi. While the original 1998 Audi TT Type 8N was an excellent all-rounder, its curvy design began to look a little dated as time passed. Isofix child seat mountings for the rear seats are offered as an option, as is a tyre pressure monitoring system. The TT is a two-plus-two seater but a bit more generous than before. The rear seats are best suited to children, but teenagers would probably be happy using them too. The boot is 20 litres larger than in the old model with 290 litres in total – plus the space with the rear seats folded has also increased by 20 litres.
