This is a 2015 (15 registration) Citroen Berlingo used wheelchair accessible vehicle we have for sale. It has the 1.6 HDI diesel engine and is automatic (with paddle shift). It has had one owner from new and started life as a Motability Scheme vehicle. It has full service history and it is finished in metallic blue. It has covered miles 48,000 from new (approx 5,330 miles from new). , , This Berlingo has been converted into a disabled vehicle by GM Coachworks and branded as their ‘Duo’ conversion. They have lowered the floor of the vehicle throughout to be able to support an up front passenger position and/or drive from wheelchair position. It also has lowering suspension so the ramp angle is minimal. To secure a wheelchair in the up front passenger position, there are electric front belts and rear manual belts. Currently there is no securing system for the drive from position as this vehicle was used by the previous owner as an upfront passenger vehicle only. An additional adaption would have to be added at additional cost such as a wheelchair clamp. There are also no hand controls if required, so again an additional cost for those. It could be used as a driver transfer vehicle so you would secure your wheelchair in the upfront passenger position and slide into the driver seat. , , The rear tailgate and wheelchair ramp are automated which means that they can be operated via the wireless remote to open and close †this can allow full independence. Inside we have two front seats (which are removable) and a folding rear passenger bench seat which is for two persons. There is a switch button handbrake.
