1956 Jaguar MK1 early build edition 2.4 Man with Overdrive, This extremely rare Mk1 Jaguar was built in 1956 and shipped out to Zimbabwe for the infamous Tiny Rowland. He gained fame from a number of high-profile takeover bids, in particular his bid to take control of Harrods. His lavish Jetset lifestyle left him with a number of cars dotted around the globe that have made it auction. This particular Mk1 Jaguar was kept at the Lonhro mining and land company in South Rhodesia. It was then shipped back to Newton Aycliffe in 1992. It was purchased by the last owner in 2012 and stored in a garage. As you can see from the pictures the interior is in superb condition and the body work unbeliverbly good due to living in warmer climates. She starts and runs smoothly without any hesitation. Underneath ramp inspection available on site and welcome. With this provenance and so few of these Mk1's left it has to be a great addition to anyones collection.
