A couple of years ago, one Friday evening after a beer or 2 too many, I bought this beautiful little MGB. , In need of much TLC at the time, I took her under my wing with the best intentions of returning her to her former glory. Ive got as far of her being mechanically sorted to a point where she starts and drives beautifully. Mechanically I wanted her to be safe and reliable to the point of being able to pass an MOT which she did 19/09/2024. Further down the description Ill include a list of whats been replaced during my ownership. , The next step would be the cosmetic side of things which, in my opinion, wont take too much. In the early days I made the mistake of keeping her under a car cover which has resulted in paint micro blistering. The chrome parts could do with a freshen up too. The roof is in a terrible condition but... I do have a brand new roof vinyl which will be included with the car. , However, lack of time and space means my journey with her is coming to an end and the baton will be passed onto her next owner. , , In terms of history, she spent her early years in California before coming over to the Uk in 1990. , Manufactured in 1976. , Over the last few months, in preparation for her MOT, shes had the following replaced.... Battery, , Front brake discs/calipers/pads/hoses, , Rear brake drums/shoes/cylinders/pipes and hoses, , Fuel tank/lines/pump, , Clutch, , Master and slave cylinder, , Distributor cap and leads, , Radiator flush/fresh coolant, , Ignition lock wiring, , Perished hoses replaced , and many other general items. , She has a small collection of paperwork from over the years dating back to when she was in California along with the owners hand book and some photographs from her early days. , Im not sure how relevant it is with the works shes had done but Im unable to verify the mileage. , Tax exempt, MOT until 18/09/2025. , Youre welcome to ask any questions and Ill do my best to answer. , Since being in the Uk, shes had 4 owners in total including myself.
