For sale is one of our directors personal track cars. This car has been his pride and joy for over 2 years and is now time to be sold to fund a drive in another race series. The R53 is arguably one of best budget track day cars. This car did 8 track days last year and other than routine maintenance did not skip a beat or break the entire time. The car is on 116k but not much of the original car remains. Both subframes where removed and powdercoated. Every suspension bush and moving part was replaced. The front subframe was redone about 6 months ago to ensure it was 100%. The car has never been entered into a race series and has always been a track day toy. That being said it could with very little work be entered into a race series. Specification, Engine:, -Baffled Sump, -Weisco Pistons, -K1 Rods, -ARP Bolts throughout, -John cooper works cylinder head, -Catcam 469 cam, -550 Injectors, -ProAlloy intercooler, -17% supercharger pulley. (Supercharger was serviced 12 months ago), -John cooper works airbox, -1320 remap (Dynod at 231bhp), -Front mount oil cooler set up with thermostat, -FX400 clutch, -Quaife Diff, Suspension, -BC Racing coilovers, -R56 alloy rear arms, -Whiteline adjustable rear anti roll bar, -Mini one front anti roll bar, -Fully adjustable lower and upper rear arms, -The car is currently set up to run -3° camber all round with a lot of toe in. Brakes, -Genuine R56 JCW front callipers with 2 piece rotors, -R56 rear callipers, -PBS Prorace pads all round (Recently replaced), Team dynamics with pilot spot 4 fitted, Interior, -2x Corbeau ClubSports XL, -2X FIA Legal 6 point harnesses (Out of date), -Full safety devices bolt in roll cage, -Coolerworx, -Kode Steering wheel, -AEM Wideband gauge. Plumbed in just currently no sensor in exhaust, -Track day door cards, -Rear battery tray removed fitted with light weight battery. -Driver and passenger false floors, Exhaust, -Scorpion manifold and sports cat, -Custom cat back with 2 large simmons boxes and i also have a small extension for tracks like thruxton. Exterior, -Aero front bumper, -Atomspeed scoop, -Genuine GP Side skirts, -G Wing with duckbill blade, -Exterior colour is wrap. Originally dark silver underneath. This is a basic overview for lots of the spec. There will undoubtedly be lots i have missed. The car is not a genuine original works. I fitted the cylinder head, Rocker cover and airbox, I have a folder full fo reciepts for lots of the work, The car presents very well but is ultimately still a track day car there is the off tyre mark and mark here and there and the wrap is not perfect. (Spare wrap can be provided)
