I am slimming down my Porsche Bike collection so this FS Evolution is sadly for sale. , This bike was originally bought new by a friend of mine from the Porsche dealer in Dubai. He used the bike in Dubai, took it with him to California and then brought it with him when he returned to Dubai. I always said I wanted to buy it, so when he finally decided to let it go I grabbed it. , It was well used to say the least, so I had the bike extensively restored. The bike was stripped and the frame and Spengle wheels re-painted. Everything was checked and refreshed when re-building the bike with new chain and new decals. The Spengle ones being sourced in the UK before their office closed. The rims were then fitted with the correct pattern of Continental tyres with new rim tape and inner tubes, before everything was re-assembled. , The bike is fitted with full Shimano XTR kit with rapid fire shifters which are all original, with a new chain fitted on re-assembly. The brakes are Magura, and again all original. The left brake level has been damaged and is shorter - I just didnt get around to replacing. , The FS Evolution models are fitted with the upside down Votec forks in black which work well. The original seat comes with the bike though it was badly worn, so a matching period correct NOS Italia seat was sourced which is currently on the bike. I also managed to find NOS Storck grips which were fitted to the original bars. , This bike has been a display item for the last 5 years with very little use. It would need some re-commissioning and adjustment if you wish to use the bike. They were state of the art when new but a little heavy compared to the new bikes now. , Please note this is a 20+ year old bike and although restored carries the marks of wear on some areas as you would expect. The bars show some fading but I wanted to keep them original. , Viewing is welcome and more photos can be provided on request. This is without doubt a great example of a collectors item that is well priced for the market. , The price is for collection, but I am happy to arrange delivery to UK, Europe or worldwide after purchase.
