Built on VWs MQB platform the Seat Arona is a subcompact crossover SUV which was launched in 2017, its siblings include the VW T-Cross and Skoda Kamiq. Excellent build quality, equipment levels that would make many other sector manufacturers blush with embarrassment, and available with either a TSI Petrol or TDI Diesel power plant. Sitting higher up than a car but not quite as high as a full blown SUV, the Arona is easy to get in and out of, as many cars seem to be getting ever closer to the ground. Inside the cabin, comfortable seats with hard wearing / easy clean fabrics make it a pleasant place to be. The boot space is truthfully no bigger than that of an Ibiza but you do get a larger capacity, thanks to is squarer tail gate, which, incidentally opens to bumper level for easier loading. Cheaper than its big brother the T-Cross, we think this car is a hit, offering excellent value for money and uncompromising build quality (as one would expect from the V.A.G stable) ,
