REF: DB9 SMC Heritage are proud to present this incredibly special 346 Mile Aston Martin DB9 with just 1 owner from new! Supplied new by Statstone of Derby on 1st September 2007 to its one and only keeper Mr Oliver. The vehicle invoice totals £120,856.28 and shows the following options: Alarm Upgrade, Alternative Caliper Finishes, Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, Bright Finish Grille, Contrast Carpet Binding, Contrast Stitching, Door Cappings -Piano Black, Heated Front Screen, Integrated Phone (GSM), Linn 260 Audio, Piano Black Veneer, Stone Guards About the DB9: The DB9 was designed by Henrik Fisker, and was first introduced at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show. The letters "DB" are the initials of David Brown, the owner of Aston Martin for a significant part of its history. Although it succeeded the DB7, Aston Martin did not name the car DB8 due to fears that the name would suggest that the car was equipped with a V8 engine rather than a V12. It was also reported that Aston Martin believed that naming the car DB8 would indicate a gradual evolution and misrepresent the car which was a huge technological and design leap forward. The DB9 was the first model to be built at Aston Martin's Gaydon facility in Warwickshire. In 2007, the DB9 was revised with upgraded electrical components which helped reliability, new front seat design, LED approach lights on the door handles and lowered suspension (8mm). The DB9 Volante no longer had a 266 km/h (165 mph) top-speed limiter, allowing it to attain an unrestricted top speed of 299 km/h (186 mph) should conditions allow. Provenance: With just 346 miles and just one keeper this really is as good as it gets for collector, investor and show potential. The car is supplied all 3 Keys and tracker fobs, all booklets and instructions in the original soft leather embossed file. The original hard written order form (some 9 months prior to delivery), vehicle invoice and various communications from Statstone, Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Heritage Trust. In fact, the European Emergency Service card is still attached to letter from Aston Martin rather elegantly displaying the royal warrant atop. We also have the original V5, tax and SORN notifications. Mr Oliver’s previous 2004 DB9 also in Silver but with Iron ore Red interior was part exchanged at 3 years old with just 2365 miles. Unfortunately, work and family commitments meant that his new car would see even less use. It was stored perfectly in his heated garage for the next 12 years. Despite being stored in perfect conditions ageing fuel meant that re-commissioning was required at 343 miles in September 2019. This was entrusted to famous marque specialists Aston Engineering of Derby. They meticulously photo documented both the vehicles transportation and the work itself. The total invoice including a service came to in excess of £6500. In Jan 2020 the vehicle was MOT’d to facilitate the transfer of Mr Oliver’s private registration. The mileage was 344 and needless to say there are no advisories. Exterior: Essentially as new and having always been garaged the car is in absolutely remarkable condition. The Titanium silver paint is unmarked with a deep and luscious as new showroom shine. The factory paint protection is still present and the underside still shows the factory markings. The bumpers, lights and badges are all correct and free from any damage or discolouration. The colour really highlights the subtle muscular lines of the DB9 and the bright finish grill, sport pack alloys and gloss black callipers complete the look. This is to all intents and purposes a brand-new car and you could confidently eat your dinner from the underside . Interior: As per the exterior the interior is as new and a fabulous place to reside with both” new car” and Connolly leather aromas still present. The light grey alcantara headliner in unmarked and contrasts beautifully with the Obsidian black leather. The carpets are also unworn and in perfect order having been protected by genuine fitted over mats from new. The switch gear is all perfect and the piano black trim is perfect throughout. It really is as new. Overview: A unique opportunity to buy a “brand new” DB9. With just 346 miles its condition is best described as time warp. The exterior and interior are quite simply superb. If you are looking for the best, most attractive and original example of the legendary British icon you need to see this car. The vehicle will be MOT’d and fully inspected by SMC Heritage prior to collection for complete peace of mind. £79,994Open by appointment only please call us on 01244 539760 or 07890 000145 or 07710 096345 We are always looking for high quality, low mileage classic and modern classic cars and bikes with good service history from the early 60s to the mid 00’s.
