Supplied new on the 19th July 1982 by Jack Barclay VW in Battersea, this incredible Mk1 GTI was finished in Alpine white (L90E) with contrasting black and red stripe interior and the iconic Golf ball gear lever. Provenance: Having covered just 119,000 Miles from new this highly desirable 5 Speed early car has undergone a labour of love painstaking restoration and has remained stored within a private collection ever since. It has had a glass out, nut and bolt restoration completed by a full respray in factory finish Alpine white. The interior was overhauled including new carpets and retrimmed seats. Along with body and interior restoration with mechanics were also dealt with, the engine having been fully rebuilt to ensure longevity.
